Sometimes, five minutes is all you need when your destination session is in Edinburgh, Scotland. Yep, you heard that right. This adorable couple in the streets of Edinburgh was photographed in about five minutes FLAT.

To put that into perspective, I usually take about an hour and a half to create a full gallery, so this was a fun challenge. Luckily, these two didn’t take long to warm up and we dove right in. Kim is from Australia and Andy is from England, and the pair were on their first stop for their long trip. (Raise your hand if you instantly feel less cool even hearing that! Same).

They were stopping at so many amazing places around the world, and I was so glad to be able to photograph a small part of their journey! Loved meeting this adventurous couple in the most magical place. This Edinburgh, Scotland session has my heart.

One thing that made this Edinburgh, Scotland session so special was the activity of exploring a new place together! If you don’t have an activity in mind, that’s where your photographer can help. Think of your activity like a date! A story-line will create really strong images that you’ll enjoy for years. It will remind you more of what it was like to be together than what you look like together. Both are equally as important, but I think capturing that feeling is so special. If you need help thinking of an activity, make sure you think about your dream date with your partner. For example, do you love the outdoors? Maybe your activity will be hiking in the mountains.
