I couldn’t ask for more amazing clients- I mean really. Jillian's Fredericksburg senior session didn't go as planned (at all), but she worked with me every step of the way! From the weather to the locations, we BOTH had to be super flexible + trust each other to let everything fall into place in order to capture the best photos possible!
Being flexible when shooting is one of the most important parts of being a photographer + trusting your photographer to make the right decisions for your shoot is such an important part of getting the most out of your pictures! Photographers appreciate a client that trusts our decisions!! Whether it is our outfit advice or final call on the weather, we spend a lot of time learning what works best for photos and will absolutely go above and beyond for you in any obstacle that comes along!
Two obstacles that we faced in this photo shoot:
- Obstacle number one:
We showed up to our first location not knowing the locations was actually closed so we were super limited on time, but Jillian picked up everything I told her super quick and we rocked through what time we had! I taught a few quick tricks to posing and she turned into model of the year! ( plus she's already perfect.)
PS. If you ever feel nervous posing with your photographer, don't worry! We give you guiding the entire shoot to ensure that you love your photos!
Also, we got tons of spur of the moment locations that create tons of variation in your photos!
- Obstacle number two:
Rescheduling due to rain that never came( a constant battle of every photographer). First of all, I can't stand the weather channel. I mean even the radar will be like "hey Natalie, It's going to rain." so naturally wanting the best sun possible, I reschedule and boom- no rain.
Although I was sad the weather ended up being beautiful, I do have to say that I am SO grateful I rescheduled because Jillian's senior session was beyond gorgeous! I mean there was a little monarch butterfly family flying around us, a family of ducks, and a gentle breeze PERFECT for pictures. One of the most beautiful days I ever could have asked for!
Jillian absolutely KILLED her session, and I feel so beyond blessed to have been able to capture her senior pictures!
Congratulations Jillian on your graduation from Stafford High School!
