One of my favorite parts about going to The Bayside Workshop was getting to spend some time playing with film! I have owned a $20 film camera from B&H and played around in a darkroom class before, I have never shot on a nice film camera! Spending a few hours with Krista A. Jones at the Aspen Wye River Conference Center for this beautifully styled anniversary photo shoot was beyond amazing! This romantic picnic underneath the beautiful blooms just made my little heart soar!
While I was playing with film I realized how much I LOVED IT. While their are a lot of Film Photography vs Digital photography arguments, I simply love the way film slows me down and forces me to think about composition! and that leads me to say that I would love to eventually become a hybrid photographer! ( I would be part time film, part time digital!) So currently, I am saving up for a film camera! I'm so excited to be able to play around soon with film and digital!
Anyways, These are the results of the first time I used Film!
