It’s official- We’re engaged!
Our Story
When we woke up on Friday, the rain was on the forecast and Brian began to check the forecast frantically throughout the day for a “surprise date” that he had planned for us that day. He told me to dress in something I like, and that he was going to take me somewhere on a date!
Fast forward to later that day, Brian took me to Bryant Park! Bryant Park is a little park behind the library near Times Square that we go to every time we visit New York City. It’s one of our traditions every time we go into New York City. It was decorated for Christmas, so the park was filled with food vendors, cute little shops. and the smell of hot chocolate.
Once we got to the park, I knew what was happening. Brian pulled me to the side and this is when I basically blacked out with excitement. He pulled out a piece of paper and read his proposal. This wasn’t just any proposal note. He actually wrote this proposal years ago. February of 2018 to be exact. It meant even more that he had been waiting for the perfect moment for me.
