Website Launch Giveaway Winner

If you didn’t already hear, my new website is LIVE!! I finally made the leap and got professionally branded.

After being in business for years, I finally took the big step. In the past, I always tried to brand myself I knew I wasn’t a professional.  I always felt like I was carrying an inconsistency brand around when I tried to go DIY on my website. Even when I tried so hard to hold back from hiring someone, I knew my brand needed a facelift. I was in a constant state of never truly feeling proud of my branding, my logo, or anything really. I would work so hard, and after just a few months I would find that I  didn’t feel like my brand fit my business anymore.

I knew I needed a professional designer to make all the puzzle pieces fit to truly create a full brand. I was more than ready to take my business to the next level when I made the decision to rebranding, it was just a matter of doing it! I wanted a visual representation of that experience, and I’m so glad that I finally have just that!
A huge thank you to Krista and Davey for my amazing website.

  1. My husband and I met in college on the dance floor, at our university’s swing dance club!

  2. Chevelle says:

My love and I met on a dating website! We had our first date 3 days later and fell head over heels for each other. He is currently deployed in the Coast Guard and I am (im)patiently awaiting for his return!

  3. Madison Winter says:

My boyfriend and I met in 5th grade when he let me play soccer with him and all the guys at recess. We became good friends again in 9th grade and in 11th grade he finally made his way out of the friend-zone. It has now been almost 4 years, we are both students living together at UVA and getting very close to graduation and possibly engagement! I have been wanting to do a couples shoot with him so this giveaway is PERFECT!

  4. Justin and I first met playing beach volleyball after BCM (in college). He was 2 years younger than me and had a weird mustache (that I thankfully have blocked out what it looks like!). We always helped each other with the opposite sex, but never thought to date each other (the age difference). Well, after many failed attempts with other people, we decided to pursue each other. With many ups and downs, failures and victories, crazy moments and happy times, we made it here! 🙂

  5. Jessica says:

My husband and I are high school sweethearts <3. We met in 10th grade English class and have been together for over 15 years!

  6. Katie Kline says:

My husband and I are college sweethearts. We met at Lynchburg College and truly fell for each other other the summer after Mike graduated. A year after I graduated, he asked me to be his wife in the middle of my childhood kitchen and we got married in October of 2017. We have been happily married a little over a year now and have enjoyed finding new parts of ourselves in our career changes, skiing together, and traveling the world!

  7. Lindsey says:

I met my boyfriend in college through mutual friends. I knew there was something special when I met him and with a bit of persistence, I convinced him to take a chance on me. 5 years later, we are still together and have a dog together! We made it through 2 years together in college and 2 years of long distance before moving in together. It has been amazing to come home to him every day.

  8. Katie says:

My husband Josh and I are high school sweethearts. We were together over 6 years before we tied the knot. We got married on November 5, 2016 and Hope was our photographer (woohoo) so it has now been 2 years since our wedding and we haven’t had pictures since and let me tell you, I am dyingggg to have a session done. I would love nothing more than to cuddle my hunky hubby for an hour while you work your magic. 🙂

  9. Jacqueline Collins says:

Not sure if this abides by the rules of the giveaway but I entered this for my brother and his new fiance! Tyler and Sam met through me, actually, so I have a really close connection with their love story! Sam is one of my best friends from college– we lead a girls’ Bible study together. My brother, Tyler, is my absolute best friend. I set Sam and Tyler up knowing they would hit it off because their personalities would mesh. After their first date I remember asking Sam on a walk home, “You’re going to marry my brother aren’t you?!” to which she blushed profusely and would not answer (an answer in itself). Over the past year and a half I have gotten to watch their love grow and mature as my dorky brother falls more and more in love with my beautiful and dorky best friend. This give away would be such a gift to them as they are working to budget this wedding as well as their student loans and life in general. Plus, they are both huge cheeseballs as I call them– they would love the chance to capture their love in a session with you! 🙂

  10. Jessica says:

My boyfriend (and been hinting towards fiancé) of 4 years met in Charlottesville just as I was accepting an RN position at UVA. Of course I had all the plans of having my first “big girl” job in my new studio apartment in a new city and I was feeling so empowered. “I don’t need no man” Well those plans changed quickly as I fell just head over heels with Eric. Fast toward a year, he got deployed to the middle east for 9 months – putting a hold on his aspirations of finishing his Fish and Wildlife degree. Those 9 months were some of the hardest times I’ve gone though – but our love held strong. As soon as he got back stateside we decided to move across the country to Oregon so he could finish his degree at Oregon State University. We’ve been here for about a year and just next week we’ll be driving across the country with our two sweet pups to spend the holidays with our families! We’d absolutely love the opportunity to do a couples session (engagement session if I’m so lucky) in the hometown we met in. Especially after being away for so long! Happy Holidays!

  11. Hannah McClain says:

Jake and I met freshmen year of high school, and were the best of friends for 4 years. After years of being comfortable with each other, relying on each other, and loving each other dearly as friends, we decided we really didn’t want to be with anyone else. It’s been four amazing years together now, and he’s still my best friend above all else. Wouldn’t trade it for the world.

  12. Bethany says:

My husband and I met in college, working part time in the same office. By the end of the semester, we had both “somehow” adjusted our schedules to work the same hours! He would wait for me to clock out and offer to drive me to my car across campus. We were still “just friends” when we both started jobs halfway across the country at the SAME business! We fell in love and a week before we were married, he received a job offer back in our home state of Virginia where we now live! <3
