I used to avoid blogging for longer than I care to admit. Not because I didn’t want to share my work, but because the actual process of building blog posts felt like way too much. Formatting took forever. Trying to make everything look good on both desktop and mobile was frustrating. And I definitely did not enjoy battling with image spacing or resizing.

That’s when I started using Narrative Publish, and it quietly changed everything for me.

I still write all my blog post text in a Google Doc. Once the writing feels good, I open Narrative Publish, upload my images, drag them into the layout I want, and add any ALT text or links. I can see exactly how everything is going to look before I publish. There’s no guessing, no weird formatting issues, and no wasted time. It’s visual, it’s simple, and it’s fast. I don’t have to think about code or how things will display. I can just focus on sharing the work.

It takes something that used to feel annoying and makes it feel manageable. More than that, it actually makes blogging enjoyable again. And that’s saying a lot considering how far down my to-do list blogging used to be.
If you’re a photographer or creative who blogs your work, and you’ve been feeling stuck with the tech side of it, I figured this might be helpful to know about.
Here’s the link if you want to try it: Narrative Publish
I’m strongly leaning into showing up more consistently without the stress.
